Our premium quality handcrafted Unrefined Shea Butter is processed by rural women. The traditional handcrafted method of processing shea butter is not only proven to be the most trusted method of production that keep all the much talked about beneficial properties of the Shea intact but most importantly also provide regular income for the rural women. By deliberately using this processing module, Danikom Ghana Ltd makes it possible for the rural women to earn income throughout the year. This enables them to send their children to school especially the girls and enhance their status in society.

We also produce Unrefined Yellow Shea Butter infused with Borututu Roots using the same processing method. 

Women form the core of our operations and workforce right from nuts collection to our shea butter production. Danikom Ghana Ltd (DGL) currently works with about 1650 women shea nuts collectors in 18 communities in northern and the savanna regions of Ghana. We also work with 487 women who process our shea butter all year round.

Our shea butter is produced using clean water and without any chemical additives whatsoever. This makes our Shea Butter very natural and chemicals free. 

Traceability and sustainability are important to us therefore we are constantly working with our partners to achieve these. 

DGL currently offers Crude Handcrafted Unrefined Shea Butter (Conventional). Watch out for our Organic Certified handcrafted Shea Butter soon.
